I'm a Brand Designer and Content Creator based (and born) in Portugal, Lisbon. I create unique identities for brands and individuals to help them achieve their business goals and stand out in a market full of competitors.
My work has some vintage/ retro, nostalgic and 80's editorial influences, and my focus is on empowering people & small businesses by giving them a unique voice to help them achieve their goals and dreams!

When I was young, my father used to inspire me to do arts & crafts & at school, I was always surrounded by a creative environment, so art always helped me feel safe and confident.
Between 2014 and 2017 took a Bachelor’s in IT with a strong emphasis on business and in 2020 I finished my Master’s thesis in UX for AI and AR. By the time I finished, Covid hit our lives, and finding a job was a lot harder. So I decided to take a chance on my passion for art and design and found myself studying & falling in love with Branding.
In October 2021 I created my Instagram account which began by being a simple page to share my work, and turned into a business that has already helped brands create their identity, a place in the market & achieve their business goals.

At Designs by Inês Pires, we also have a Mascot, or actually two: The heart mascot - named Pin - represents our passion and love for branding and design in general, our friendly personality and adds colour and playfulness to our brand that also is related to our purpose of bringing that to the world through our work while helping brands achieve their goals and dreams!
The flower mascot - named Blooma - represents our clients that we want to help bloom and Shine Through! We use them to bring character and personality to our brand.

WEBFLOWMy favourite place to build websites, like my own! It's really nice to use if you already have some basic knowledge on programming, but they also offer free courses to learn how to use it, so it's extremely accessible! Plus it's easy for clients to use to update blogs and do quick text edits.
FREEFACESThis website is a curated collection of typefaces that are available under a variety of free licences somewhere on the interwebs and it's amazing!
